WORLDSTEP Custom Insole Service 

To create insoles that perfectly match the contours of your soles, our custom service requires you to perform a DIY impression to capture your unique foot profile data.

Mold box usage instructions

1.Verify Information: Before taking the impression, please check the name and insole specifications on the outer casing of the box. If there are any errors, please contact our customer service immediately.

2.Damaged Goods: If the impression box is damaged during shipping and affects its usability, please take photos for documentation and contact us as soon as possible. We will send a replacement box to you promptly.

3.Single Use Only: The impression box is a one-time-use product. Please do not attempt to reuse it.

Impression Step-by-Step Guide

The human body is not perfectly symmetrical; therefore, in addition to size differences, there are subtle variations in the height and position of the arches between your left and right feet. The WORLDSTEP impression box can 100% replicate the curves of your soles, providing the most complete and snug support for your feet.

-Step 1-

Place the impression box flat on the floor. Hold onto the back of a chair to maintain your balance.

-Step 2-

Lightly place your right foot onto the left side of the foam. Apply vertical pressure so that the entire sole is pressed evenly to the bottom. Then, lift your foot gently straight up to avoid damaging the mold.

-Step 3-

Lightly place your left foot onto the right side of the foam. Follow the same method as in Step 2 to obtain the impression for your other foot.

-Step 4-

Confirm that both feet have completed the impression process. If you are unsure whether the quality of the mold meets the standard, we recommend taking a photo of the results and sending it to our LINE@ account. Our customer service team will assist in confirming the quality and arranging the subsequent pickup details.

Insole Tracing Method

The fit between the insole and the shoe is of utmost importance. If the insole is too small and slides inside the shoe, it can lead to blisters caused by repeated friction and result in wasted athletic energy output. Conversely, if the insole is too large, it may bunch up or bulge, causing discomfort and compressing the space inside the shoe, which leads to pressure on the instep and poor blood circulation, ultimately affecting athletic performance.

WORLDSTEP custom-made insoles are compatible with the vast majority of athletic shoes. To maximize the performance of the insoles and ensure the most comfortable fit, we ask that you follow the steps below to trace your current insole and provide it to us. This allows us to pre-trim the insoles specifically for you.

-Step 1-

Please remove the original insole you wish to replace and place it on the grid paper included in the impression box.

-Step 2-

Press the insole down firmly with one hand. With the other hand, hold a marker vertically and trace the entire outer perimeter of the insole.

-Step 3-

Angle the pen tip slightly inward and trace along the inner arch side of the insole to complete an inner perimeter. Once finished, the grid paper should show two lines: an outer tracing and an inner tracing.

-Step 4-

Please measure the maximum length and maximum width of both the outer and inner tracings, and mark these dimensions clearly on the grid paper.

Impression Box Return Process

  1. Scheduling the Return: After completing the DIY impression and insole tracing, please securely wrap the impression box in its original protective casing. Place the box along with the tracing grid paper into the provided shipping bag. You can then schedule the return pickup by contacting our customer service through the following two methods.
  2. Logistics Collection: WORLDSTEP will notify the logistics provider to collect the package at your designated location during your preferred time slot. The courier will contact you for further confirmation before pickup. If you require "Convenience Store Drop-off/Pickup," please specify this when scheduling.
  3. Order Status Update: Once the return request for the impression box is submitted, your order status will be updated to "Return in Progress."
  4. Receipt Confirmation: Upon receiving your impression box, WORLDSTEP will notify you via LINE@ or SMS and update your order status to "Preparing Shipment" (Processing).
  5. Handcrafted Production: WORLDSTEP custom-made insoles are 100% handcrafted. The production process—including CNC mold carving, thermoplastic molding, and manual trimming—begins only after we receive your impression box. Please allow 3 to 4 weeks for production. We appreciate your patience.
