Insole Tracing & Trimming Method

For maximum comfort and functionality, the insole must lie flat within the footwear without sliding. This not only reduces friction to prevent blisters but also ensures a more complete power output with every step you take.

WORLDSTEP will pre-trim your insoles based on the template you trace or the original insoles you send back. However, if you still need to trim the insoles yourself for personal fit preferences, please refer to the following steps.

If the insole is too small or remains too large to fit after trimming, please contact our customer service immediately. WORLDSTEP provides a "30-day Free Comfort Adjustment" service for every pair of custom-made insoles.

- Tools Required -

  • Scissors
  • Marker / Felt-tip pen

-Step 1-

Remove the original insole from your shoe and place it on top of the new insole, aligning them perfectly at the heel.

-Step 2-

Trimming should primarily focus on the forefoot (front) area. Use a marker to trace the excess portion of the new insole that extends beyond the original one.

-Step 3-

Carefully trim away the excess material along the marked line.

※ Note: The forefoot section of WORLDSTEP insoles is made of high-density, thick EVA material. It is normal to feel significant resistance while cutting; we recommend using sharp scissors for the best results.
